James R. Gallini, Esq.
Owner and Founding Partner
James practices exclusively in the areas of Special Education and Family Law.
James was born and raised in Lubbock Texas and Southeastern New Mexico. As a young man James achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America Organization, member of two football State Championship teams, Student Body President of his High School, and served a mission for his Church in New York State.
James comes from a distinguished legal family where his father was a Partner in an Oil and Gas Law Firm in Southeastern New Mexico and served the citizens of New Mexico as a District Judge for the 5th Judicial District. His brother, Jon "Kit" Gallini, is an attorney in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and his brother, Jason Gallini, is an attorney practicing in the Austin, Texas area.
He graduated from the University of Texas-Arlington and holds a B.A. in History. James holds a law degree from Birmingham School of Law. Mr. Gallini is a member of the Alabama State Bar, admitted United States District Court Northern District of Alabama. He was an Adjunct Professor of law at Birmingham School of Law and currently serves on the Autism Task Force 6-21 Developmental Standards Sub-Committee. James provides frequent seminars and trainings on IEP development and tactics on maintaining positive relationships with school systems while appropriately advocating for your child.
James is married to Jenifer Solberg Gallini and they have four children. The area of Special Education and the Autism Spectrum became the focus of his practice when his daughter was diagnosed with classic autism. He and Jenifer believe in recovery and aggressively work to make that a reality.
James has the unique insight of having a child on the spectrum, attending his own IEP meetings, and establishing specific and achievable goals for his daughter. He understands what parents go through and knows that the school is typically the only resource to help your child.
When James is not in court, a school meeting, or preparing for a case he's with his family, reading history or political books, writing, or coaching on his son's Football team.
